Catherine Langlois – Winemaker
Catherine was raised on a farm in Québec, and this upbringing prepared her well for the physical work in the vineyards of Burgundy. Upon her return to Canada, Catherine worked in sales for Pelee Island Winery as well as wine importing agencies. Her real vocation is in the soil and, in 2000 she planted her six acre vineyard in Prince Edward County. Catherine’s hard work and genuine passion for her craft have produced many fine, award-winning wines. catherine@sandbankswinery.com
René Lorenzo
René hails from Toro, Spain, and his family’s traditions of making, selling and drinking wine go back centuries. . René is pleased and proud to be part of such a diverse, tolerant and fun-loving team. The Sandbanks family has roots in Québec, Alberta, Spain and Prince Edward County.

John Squair – Sales and Promotions
John developed a passion for wine and started making it some twenty years ago and in 1998 he bought property in the County and planted vines in 2000. In 2006, John started Grapevale Vineyard Management, in 2007, John joined the Sandbanks team and by 2008 was promoting and selling Sandbanks wine. John is the go-to guy for information on availability and licensee pricing.

Kassandra Melnyk – Communications and Marketing
Kassandra is a born and raised county girl, and studied Communications at Wilfrid Laurier University. After a four year stint in Waterloo, Kassandra returned home to rediscover the beauty and charm of the County and its people.

Catherine Pearce – Office Administrator
Catherine recently relocated from the West Island of Montreal, and although not new to accounting and office work, Catherine is brand new to the wine industry. She is looking forward to the challenges of working for such a vibrant enterprise and being a part of the Sandbanks team.
